Taughannock Falls

Our ex-Zimbabwean friends, Johno and Trisha Robart Morgan came to stay with us for the weekend. They now live in Canada. We went for a walk to the Taughannock Falls which looked so different in the Summer! I have included some winter photos so you can compare the differences.

 I personnally prefer the Falls in the Winter. I think that it is so much more beautiful!

 There are many beautiful waterfalls in Ithaca and we are yet to still explore them all.

 My Beloved and me! Phil was so chuffed to hear that he received all A`s for his exams! I didn`t know that I had married such a Boffen! He worked so hard and deserved those marks!

 There were many deep pools. It reminded me of the Eastern Transvaal in South Africa.

It was so good for Johno and Phil to catch up and to be able to speak politics! They always enjoy trying to solve the worlds problems, especially Zimbabwe.

We had a great time and it was so special to spend time with 'old' friends! There will always be a special connection, especially being from Africa! We look forward to seeing Johno and Trisha again when we head off to Myrtel Beach in South Carolina in August. We haven`t seen the South of the country, so we are looking forward to travelling down to that part of America.
